Designers can also choose between self-compensating or adjustable shock absorbers in this ACE category. Whichever model is chosen, this type of shock absorber impresses with its robustness and operational readiness whenever heavy loads have to be braked reliably, precisely and without rebound. The CA4 models can absorb up to 126,500 Nm of energy. The heavy self-compensating CA model series can also be used as an emergency stop, as can the adjustable models with the designations A1 to A3. The range of effective masses supported has been considerably extended to suit this use.
