Gear Pumps, Motors
Gear Pumps and Gear Motors are both essential components in fluid power systems, but they have distinct functions and applications.
Gear Pumps
Is a type of positive displacement pump that uses gears to move fluid. It operates by trapping fluid between rotating gears and then forcing the fluid through the pump, generating pressure and flow.
Gear Motors
Is a type of motor that uses gears to reduce speed while increasing torque. Gear motors are typically used in systems where controlled, high-torque and low-speed output are required. They combine a motor (usually an electric motor) with a gear reducer to create a torque-efficient, high-performance output.
