Brakes are used on the folding bearings in order to achieve tensile stress when unwinding on the winding path. Since the winding diameter changes during unwinding, the braking torque must also be changed. This control can be done manually or pneumatically.If brakes with Boschert bearings are used, make sure that the bearings are ordered with the appropriate shaft ends.
